Hello Diane,
I am finally writing to THANK YOU for helping CeCe. As you know CeCe is a 9 year old beagle/terrier mix and she was having an awful time with scratching and hair loss. I did not know what it was and until I met you and took time to work with you, did I finally start to see results.
It is crazy that after many trips to the vets all they wanted to do was to give her test after test, but after one visit with you and a change in diet CeCe has never looked better.
When we first met, CeCe was bad. She had a stomach that was all black from the toxins in her system, not to mention she was smelling like yeast and had major areas of hair loss. She barely could sit as her butt area was very tender and sore from a lot of licking and scratching.
The first few steps were a bit difficult. Per your request I put CeCe through a cleansing phase which allowed her to only eat certain foods and broth. She got a stronger yeast scent and lost more hair. Her bowls were very light and runny, along with some mucus coating.
After a few weeks of that and a change to cooking her whole foods such as chicken, oatmeal, sardines and cottage cheese, she took a wonderful turn! It took time on my part as her feeding time was not as easy as opening up a bag of dog food and pouring some in the bowl. I had to prepare large amounts of chicken in a special broth with detoxifying herbs and then cook her oatmeal at each sitting.
CeCe loved her new food and to my amazement not only did her stomach go from black to pink, but her hair came back, the scratching was pretty much ceased and her energy level was amazing. I can't tell you how much chipper and lively she was with this change of diet.
To this day CeCe is still yeast free! She is happier than ever because she gets to eat such an awesome diet and does not have to spend her days scratching and biting.
Thanks again for your help and making my dog look like she did 9 years ago when I got her as a pup. He body is so lean and strong that many mistake her for a young dog!
If there is ever anything we can do to help, please let us know.

For years Tasha, my cocker spaniel, has suffered with chronic ear infections. Her ears were always smelly and full of gunk no matter how much I cleaned them. I had heard from no less than 3 veterinarians that the cause could possibly be food allergies; but aside from suggesting "prescription" dog food, none of them offered any solutions. They just continued to give her trials and trials of antibiotics which caused the infections to subside but never really cleared them up.
When a friend invited me to join her in the Dog Food 101 class, I accepted but had no idea the wealth of information I would get. As a result of meeting Diane and taking that class, I gained an understanding of what my dogs needed and how I could help them get it. It's been almost a year now and Scooter, my male cocker who is just about 10 years old, has lost 10 lbs. He not only looks great but he bounces and plays like he did as a puppy. Tasha, who is 6 years old, has also lost weight, 4 lbs, but more importantly, she's not had an ear infection for almost six months. The ear canals are pink and healthy. She has bounce to her step and she's a lot friendlier.
In the beginning it was a lot of work - going from opening a bag of dog food and pouring it into the bowl and actually cooking their food. But, the results have been phenomenal. Now I have it down to a science and we're all happier and they are certainly healthier. I can't thank Diane enough for helping my dogs return to good health.
